Welcome Beautiful People

Develop suppleness, strength and spaciousness in your body and mind with Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
I have been practising Ashtanga Yoga since 2010.

Strength, suppleness, peace of mind and total relaxation are just some of the joys and benefits that await you

I fell in love with Ashtanga yoga after my first ever class. And in 2015, after 5 years of practice, I decided to train to teach yoga as I felt it was too good to just keep to myself.  Yoga allows you to get to know your body and mind like you never have before which can not only help your feel better physically and mentally, but also how you show up in the world, how you relate to others and it may even make you smile more (and that’s not a bad thing) and maybe even not  stress and worry too much about things you cannot control. I genuinely feel that the world needs more yoga practitioners and people who have a much better connection and awareness of how their bodies move and how their minds function.

About Me

Ashtanga Yoga

Why Ashtanga Yoga?

Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic yoga practice which synchronises breath and movement to produce an internal heat designed to purify the body. The practice originated in the southern city of Mysore in India. It is great for building core strength and creating a more flexible, supple and toned body.

How Ashtanga Yoga is (best) practiced?

The classes I teach are primarily led. They can also be practised at own pace (which is referred to as self-practice or mysore). When people initially start to learn Ashtanga yoga, the natural preference for most students would be to be led by a teacher which makes sense. And whilst I teach  led classes, I veer towards encouraging students to start to learn the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga as I feel that only by committing to learning the sequence (or part of the sequence) can you start to develop a more authentic relationship with Ashtanga. Don’t let that put you off, try a group class or a private lesson with me and take it from there!
